Hi Boys and Girls, As I’ve mentioned previously, let’s officiate flexible working. WHY WE ARE DOING THIS Life is short. We want to make efficient use of our precious time personally & professionally. Also, this is the future of work. Let’s embrace it. TIPS TO MAKE IT WORK TRUST Flexible working only works when there is mutual trust. Trust that everyone is responsible. Trust that everyone is reliable. Do not jeopardise this trust. BE REACHABLE You must be accessible via mobile/messengers. While we don’t expect instant reply every time, don’t leave messages unanswered for too long. OFFICE HOUR MATTERS Do not deviate your flexible working hour from the official office hour "too much". A cohesive team must be reachable at all time. CALENDAR IT Mark group calendar sparingly to block time for conversations. OVER … ROGER THAT When someone message you, message back. Don’t leave anyone “hanging”. Say “got-it”, “noted”, to show the other person the message is received. SEE YOU, SEE ME Turn video on during video call. Body language matters. USE TOOLS Use Monday, use Slack, use Google stuff, to keep track of stuff that we can all refer to remotely. WHAT YOU MUST DO HAPPY THRUSDAY We are required to be in the office on THURSDAY, to end the week together. That’s all for now boys and girls.
